Drawing straws and other moose news!

Hi there! All of us moose were trying to figure out who should be the one to tell you the exciting news today , and we decided it would be fair to draw straws.  I drew the best one, as you can see by my picture, so I get to share the great news!

I am Arlene the moose, and I hang around the moose room all of the time. 



I am so excited to announce that the layout of our Moo's book

The Moose at the Manger

is just about finished.

We all got a sneak peak of it over the weekend, and I don't mind saying myself that it's going to be a great book - probably a best seller (and I am NOT just saying that because there is a moose as the main character either...well, maybe I am, but who could blame me.)

My brother Chris, the main moose of the house, decided to celebrate the book's layout but doing just that...

Chris is laying out and loving it!  He really cracks me up!

Drum roll please....

We are Murphy Mooslefluff and Vamoose Moose.  We have such exciting news that we actually got up from our nap to share it will you!  We would have changed out of our PJs, but we were in such a hurry we forgot.  (Who are we kidding, we love to be in our PJs 24/7...what moose wouldn't?)  Enough about us...

We are very excited to bring to you, for the first time in public, the cover of our Moo's book-

Murphy Mooslefluff:  Well, what do you think Vamoose? 

Vamoose:  I think Muse the Moose is adorable and I LOVE the cover!

Murphy Mooslefluff:  I agree! The snowflakes look really neat too!  Is all this excitement making you as tired as I am, Vamoose?

Vamoose:  It sure is...y-a-w-n...let's go take a nap.

Murphy Mooslefluff:  Great idea!  I'm going to be dreaming about

Vamoose:    That sounds like a plan, but first I'm going to dream about meatballs and pizza.  Maybe I can multi-task and dream about both at the same time!

There really is a PURPLE moose! Really!!

HI! MY NAME IS PURPLE AND AS YOU CAN TELL I AM UP! UP! UP!  I AM ORIGINALLY AN ALASKAN NATIVE, BUT HAVE COME TO LOVE LIVING HERE IN THE MIDWEST WITH CHRIS AND OUR FAMILY AND, OF COURSE, MY HOT MOCHA JAVA!  LOVE THE JAVA! 

NOTE: Okay, so I am not purple...well, I am Purple, and yet I'm not. BUT I LOVE the color purple!

I AM HERE TO SHARE WITH YOU TODAY THAT NO MATTER WHAT THAT CUTE LITTLE RODENT PUNXSUTAWNEY PHIL CLAIMS, SPRING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER AND SO IS THE RELEASE OF OUR MOO'S BOOK, THE MOOSE AT THE MANGER.

WE HAVE MOVED TO ONE OF THE FINAL STEPS IN MAKING MOO'S BOOK ...WELL...A BOOK!

THIS MONTH THE COVER IS BEING DESIGNED AND THEN THE ACTUAL LAYOUT OF THE BOOK WILL BE COMPLETED!

ONCE THAT IS FINISHED, WE'LL GET THE FINAL PROOF TO HOLD IN OUR HANDS (WELL, HOOVES ACTUALLY) AND APPROVE IT FOR PRINTING.  THE BOOK IS MOOSE-SIZE, SO IT WILL DEFINITELY BE EASY FOR US TO HOLD WHILE WE READ AND LOOK AT THE FABULOUS PICTURES.

WELL I MUST BE OFF FOR NOW...I PROMISED SOME OF MY FRIENDS A FRESH BREW OF HOT MOCHA JAVA!
