Who Goes to Florida looking for moose?

Well, we do, of course.  Actually, our Moo and Pop went to Florida to visit some friends that they haven't seen in almost 13 years.  Long before our Moo became an author, she started writing to a pen-pal that she bought for 50 cents!  Jane is from England and it was literally a world away back in 1981. Our moo and her friend Jane have stayed in touch for over 30 years now. Though times have certainly changed, their friendship hasn't. They have been lucky enough to meet four times over the years. And finally,  after 13 years they were able to meet up again. Moo and Pop got in their car, while Jane and Tom and their kids, Jessica and Fraser, flew down to Florida for a vacation get-together.

Our first order of business at dinner when the balloon man was taking requests was to ask for a balloon moose!

He admitted to never making a moose before, but he gave it his best try.

Later on the trip, we did come across a couple of moose at Epcot in "Canada".

Of course the best part of the trip was being able to visit with friends (even those without antlers)!

Mickey MOOSE Club!

My Pop and Moo went to Florida and bought me this very cool outfit.  We did a little research and as far as we can tell I, Chris Mas Moose,  am the only moose in the Mickey Moose Club!  I know it says Mickey Mouse Club on the hat and shirt, but I am sure that's just a typo.

Here we are getting ready for our first ever
Mickey Moose Meeting!

Today's topic:  Find ways to get that mouse to wear antlers!

Stay tuned for our next update when we reveal to you where else moose showed up in Florida.
