It's Official...

Since it seems like many people are throwing their hats in the political ring to run for president this coming election (many of whom are not qualified), we figured we should have our own candidate as well.

The moose got together and took a straw poll (and that's a lot of straw) and the winner by a majority of antlers is Muse the Moose!

So we officially announce

Muse the Moose for President!

Stay tuned for future posts from Muse the Moose to learn more about her platform and running mates.

A MOOSE wonderful wish!

Muse the Moose hopes that you are filled with wonder and awe this Christmas season!

Hats off to Sacred Heart School for their superb performance of The Moose at the Manger!

Usually, the moose take turns writing the blog posts here, but they were happy to let me, Lisa,  say a few words today.

I must give a HUGE shout out to Sacred Heart School for their beautiful rendition of The Moose at the Manger.  Everyone  - teachers and students alike - put in hours of practice to put on a flawless Christmas program for their school community and families.  I was honored to be asked to read my story while the students sang fitting Christmas songs throughout the book.  It was very touching to see the students recreate the manger scene and when they had Muse join in and stand next to the donkey looking at baby Jesus with respect and reverence, love certainly surrounded all those who were there.  The pageant was performed in church which certainly brought home the true meaning of Christmas.

Thank you for bringing The Moose at the Manger to life!

I saw many people with cameras...if anyone could share their photos/video,  I would be very proud to showcase them here!

There is Excitement in the Air!

The moose are very excited about their upcoming show this Sunday! We can't reveal who all is going yet, but let's just say, there will be scores of moose in attendance. We are taking lots of pictures in order to document this event.  This is the first time any of the moose will be on stage!

Where it is they will be going?  They are going to join Muse the Moose at the Musichorale Christmas concert.

Tickets are still available if anyone wants to join us!

We just got word a couple of days ago that our Moo's book, The Moose at the Manger, is moving to the lay-out stage this coming week!  I don't know about you, but all of us moose can't wait to see Muse and her friend Star Bright in action.  Just between us, I also know there are some other very special guests who will be appearing in the book and they are adorable.  Of course, I can't tell you who they are yet, but I know this much... you certainly won't be disappointed!

For now, me 'n my special slippers are going to watch an episode of Rocky and Bullwinkle.  They really crack us up!

Drum Roll Please ~ Muse the Moose makes her debut appearance right here, right now!

The moose gave me (their Moo) the special honor today of introducing the new character in my upcoming book, The Moose at the Manger.  I am very excited about the story, and seeing the characters come to life now certainly adds a whole new dimension.

A special shout out  to Caleb Irwin, my very talented illustrator from Tate Publishing, for listening to my ideas and incorporating them so wonderfully into the characters  He's a great artist and did a terrific job!  Thanks!

Ladies and Gentlemen... Girls and Boys ...Let me be the first to introduce to you the star of
